Exciting news!

I’m thrilled to be able to announce that my art is now on display at Pottery Place Plus!
It’s been a long road to get to this point. Establishing an LLC, creating a portfolio, building a website, and taking my work in to be juried by the other co-op members. Then it was waiting to learn if I was accepted, and waiting again for an space to open up for a 2-D artist.
When that day finally came I was so excited! But I’d also just learned that I had breast cancer two days before. I tried to make it happen anyway, but after stress dumped me into the ER, it was clear I needed to work on my health first.
Thankfully, the wonderful people at PPP were understanding and allowed me to go back on the waiting list while I recovered. In the meantime, I worked on their website and kept busy as I underwent treatment and worked on recovery.

I’m done with surgery, radiation and on to the maintenance phase of my cancer journey - tired, but still kicking! The timing worked out perfectly - the moment I started to feel ready to go forward, I was notified that they were ready to have me hang my work.
It was exciting and exhausting in the best possible way to get ready to put my work up in the gallery. Now that it’s there, I’m looking forward to sharing it with the community and working alongside the gifted artists at the gallery. It’s an honor to showcase my art at PPP and I am grateful to everyone who has supported me on this journey. If you’re in the area, please visit and check out all the amazing art available there!
