Memories by Katie Garner is a 16 × 12 acrylic on canvas. The artist used very heavy texture and glazing techniques to create a unique image of yellow yarrow flowers. The flowers are softly glowing in a field of textured greys and earth tones. With both carved in stems and impasto paint application, this piece is an excellent example of the artists use of texture.
