Queen of the House, an 14 x 11 painting by Katie P Garner, is a tonalist portrait of the artist's cat Nya. She's a very particular cat - part siamese and part ragdoll and a lot of trouble! The artist used only  white, naples yellow, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, raw umber, and a tiny bit of mars black. Her goal was to create a portrait of Nya with a limited pallet that both highlighted her dense fur and the light glowing behind her. Enjoy her 'look but don't touch!' attitude.
